Delivering positive Business Outcomes is not about Development or Operations or Security or Service Management. Business Outcomes is about all of them, working together in unison to achieve a common goal. That goal is a secure organization that delivers a service or product that a customer needs and is willing to consume.
Unfortunately, these are only a few areas within organization that have for years been driven to focus on their individual goals rather than the broader business objective. This mentality must end if we are to keep or organizations secure and delivering the best possible and realistic products & services.
In this session, we will look at how the traditional approach to running each of these areas independently and in some cases in opposition to each other, is a major contributor to the issues that organizations encounter every day as related to providing positive business outcomes and keeping the organization secure. Organizations must look to embed principles of each area into the others so that they are part of the Business Outcome DNA and not afterthoughts or add-ons.
